PRIVACY POLICY

Use less data. Explain the rest.

This policy explains how Sintax Error Private Limited (“Clear”, “we”, “us”), as operator of SendToClear.com and the Send to Clear Shortcut, processes information. It applies to visitors, account holders, purchasers, and people who contact us.

Information we process

Why we process it

We process data to provide the service you request; operate accounts, quotas, credits, and payments; research and publish eligible evidence records; prevent fraud and abuse; secure and debug the service; answer complaints and rights requests; improve quality; and comply with legal obligations. Where applicable, processing is based on your request or consent, performance of our agreement, legitimate operational and security needs, and legal duties.

Public results and private identity

A completed observation may be accessible to anyone with its permanent URL. Eligible, adequately sourced factual observations may also appear in our archive, sitemap, search engines, and AI-assisted search. They may identify the original public post and creator and show a limited preview, checked claim, evidence label, reasoning, and sources. Your account identity and history are private by default. If you opt in to public investigator attribution, eligible research you initiate may display your current profile name and image. Clear never publishes your account email through that feature, and turning it off removes the attribution when the result is next loaded. Do not submit private, access-controlled, intimate, unlawfully obtained, or harmful content.

Providers and international processing

We use Clerk for identity, Razorpay for enabled payments, Convex for application data and background work, Railway for current application hosting, Scrape Creators for public social-media extraction, and OpenAI and fal.ai for analysis and evidence work. Cloudflare and Hostinger may continue to serve security, DNS, or legacy infrastructure during migration. Optional Google Analytics and Telegram operator alerts operate only when enabled. Providers may process data outside India under their own contractual and technical safeguards.

Analytics, cookies and device storage

Essential storage supports sign-in, security, quotas, and preferences. Optional analytics is disabled unless configured and is not used to sell profiles or infer sensitive interests. If optional measurement requiring consent is enabled, Clear will request the choice before loading it where applicable. You can restrict browser storage, but account and quota functions may then fail.

Sharing and sale

We share only what is reasonably needed with service providers, professional advisers, authorities responding to valid legal process, or a successor in a properly controlled business transaction. We do not sell personal data, sell check history, or use it to infer political, religious, health, or other sensitive preferences for advertising. We do not currently give outside organizations raw user histories for research.

Retention

Public research observations may remain available for continuity and correction history. Account, usage, security, analytics, payment, and incident records are kept only as reasonably needed to operate, reconcile, protect, evaluate, or meet legal obligations. Account deletion removes or de-identifies profile data where applicable; limited payment, fraud-prevention, correction, and legal records may remain. Provider copies follow provider retention rules.

Your choices and rights

You may ask for access, correction, erasure where applicable, withdrawal of consent, account deletion, or grievance review by emailing [email protected]. Include the relevant account or result reference and enough information to verify and fulfil the request; do not send passwords or unnecessary identity documents. Withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing. You may also use applicable statutory complaint or appeal channels.

Children

Clear is intended for adults and not for children under 18. Do not create an account for a child or submit content about a child where doing so may expose, identify, or harm them.

Security and incidents

Secrets remain server-side; identifiers used for limits are hashed; inputs and external URLs are validated; permissions are scoped; and public output is restricted. No system is perfectly secure. Report a suspected incident to [email protected]. We will investigate and notify affected people or authorities where applicable law requires it.
