The framing makes LMW sound principally like a large aerospace-and-defence manufacturer. Its own audited segment reporting for the year ended March 31, 2026 shows Advanced Technology Centre external revenue of ₹171.29 crore out of ₹2,994.14 crore total—about 5.7%. Textile machinery alone reported ₹1,675.30 crore. The post also blurs supplying structures and sub-assemblies with being a major military-aircraft manufacturer.
Material. Without the revenue scale and supplier-versus-prime-contractor distinction, a reasonable viewer could wrongly conclude that aerospace and defence are LMW’s dominant business or that it is a major aircraft producer.
